SaaS B2B Web-Based Software
Spotify wants to improve engagement and retention in the app. In order to do that, they want to expand on their social capablities.
Using tools such as pen and paper, Sketch, and InVision my role was to conduct user research, user interviews, create personas, identify a successful user flow, and finally create a high-fidelity mobile prototype of the features I’d be adding, integrated seamlessly within the rest of the app, to be used in user testing.

Enterprise SaaS web-based software
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a detailed case study for my most significant works due to contractual obligations. However, I can give a brief summary of what I was able to accomplish in my time with KCF Technologies.
Products Impacted
SaaS B2B Web-Based Software
During my time at KCF Technologies, I organized and executed all quantitative and qualitative research as well as presented all user experience recommendations derived from said research across our many teams, stakeholders, and products to inform their strategic product direction.
In addition to the work I did advancing their product, I was also able to advance the company’s design language and standards with the introduction of a design system and updated Figma & React components for their SaaS web software. I worked directly as part of multiple cross-functional scrum teams to communicate and develop these user interface and usability requirements.
Mobile App for IIoT Installations
I owned and led the design of a project to create a mobile application for the installation of industrial internet of things (IIoT) hardware. During this process, I led user research, participated in product planning and journey mapping, and crafted all of the designs from low fidelity wireframes to a high fidelity prototype. In doing so, I was able to grow and change the process for our installations, and create a product that allowed us to scale our installations from an average of 300 devices to as many as 3000 per installation.
INSIGHTS
My experience at KCF Technologies allowed me to deeply strengthen my grasp on user research, as I had to spend significant time in the field to learn about the complex nature of machine health and Industry 4.0. During my time there, I was also able to significantly impact the company design culture and advance company design language and standards. I feel that this role solidified my confidence as a user researcher and allowed me to advance personally to new levels of understanding, strategy, communication, and leadership skills.
